[News] Happy New Year 04 Jan 2010 2009 was a year unlike any other year and the main reason for that was the big 'R' word, yes thats right recession. So many of our supporters have been finacially challenged this year and have had to tighten their belts but where many have had to reduce their giving we know that their prayer support has increased. This is the most important thing for us, prayer is the cornerstone of who we are and what we do. Our God has been so wonderful to us this year he has blessed us in so many ways not least the way he enabled us to be able contribute towards the purchase of another car for our partners the St Andrews Christian Mission. Pastor Marius the Director of the mission ensures that our aims and ambitions as a charity are fulfilled. Our prayer is that 2010 will be the year that your prayer life will increase and that God will answer the desires of your heart. Soon I will post up our Autumn newsletter and I pray that it will encourage you and inspire you to continue praying for us and those that we support. We must not forget that it is those less fortunate than ourselves who benefit from your love to them, I am priviledged to see first hand the difference that is made to their lives and those of their children, children who may otherwise have been put into care as the families would have been unable to support them. Sue and me were invited to visit at Christmas but as Sue is recovering from a broken ankle we did not think it wise to take her into an icy and snowy environment as dissapointing as it was it was the right decision.
