[News] URGENT NEED 07 Jul 2009 Dear Friends, It has come to our attention that Pastor Marius's car has basically collapsed in a heap and is refusing to cooperate. His poor family car (vauxhall cavalier) is coughing and spluttering in objection to the amount of abuse it is receiving. When I say abuse I don't mean it is unloved ad being abused rather it has worked so hard in so many bad conditions that it is no longer viable to spend more funds trying to keep it on the road. As a consequence our mission work is being severely impacted as Marius is unable to deliver the food aid and get to the childrens clubs as well as ministering in a church close to the Ukraine border. As a Christian he knows and believes that everything is in the lords hands, but that doesn't mean we sit back and do nothing. If anyone is able to donate money towards getting a replacement vehicle that would be just wonderful. Maybe someone out there has connections within the motor trade and has access to some good cars please could you contact us. Ideally I believe that a 4x4 type vehicle similar to say a Landrover Discovery or some equivalent would be ideal in getting Marius to the remote villages that he needs to get to particulaly in the winter. It is possible to get a car registered from the UK now in Romania but of course it means that it would be a righthand drive car being used in a lefthand drive country, not ideal. Also there would need to be some changes like the lights for example. If such a car was donated that would be perfect as the costs to get it there, i.e servicing,fuel, ferry costs etc would make it otherwise impracticle. So there must be someone in Europe that has such a car that would be perfect for us. If you know of one or someone who would like to donate one pleae, please put them in touch with us.
